GREENVILLE, S.C. – Two from Conference Carolinas earned Maverik Women’s Lacrosse Division II Media All-America honors. The All-American accolades were presented by Inside Lacrosse.
Limestone’s Julia Foster and Mount Olive’s Meghan Gordon were both selected Honorable Mention as midfielders.
According to Inside Lacrosse, the 2020 All-America selection is unique due to the truncated nature of the season, but they felt it was important to recognize the accomplishments of the players.
ILWomen contributors and members of lacrosse media were tasked with choosing the season’s top 12 attackers, nine midfielders, 12 defenders, top three draw specialists and top three goalies. Honorable mention selections were chosen based on players who received multiple votes, but did not accrue the totals of the first, second or third team honorees.
