ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced today that six basketball games; one men’s and four women’s, scheduled to be played on Nov. 21, Nov. 24 and Nov. 28 have been postponed.
The postponement follows the positive tests and subsequent quarantining within the Carson-Newman and Limestone women’s basketball teams, as well as the Lenoir-Rhyne men’s basketball team. The teams are adhering to the minimum outlined protocols within SAC Return to Play Protocol for Basketball, which is available on theSAC.com.
The Limestone women were scheduled to play Mars Hill on Nov. 21, and Lenoir-Rhyne on Nov. 24. Both games were scheduled to be home games for the Saints.
The Carson-Newman women were scheduled to travel to Coker on Nov. 21 and to Wingate on Nov. 24. The Eagles were also scheduled to host Anderson on Nov. 28.
The Lenoir-Rhyne men’s team was scheduled to host Queens on Nov. 21.
The SAC will work together with the institutions to reschedule the games for a later date.
